If you are traveling for business in the Temiskaming region, the Presidents' Suites are waiting to make your stay more enjoyable.  Working desks are available in every suites as well as reading areas and wireless internet.   Every suite offers is ideal to meet with clients.

Each suite has its own specific characteristics, depending on the type of work that you do. If you like getting up early, you’ll surely enjoy the Guertin Suite on the upper floor, with its magnificent view of the sunrise from the work area. The Suite also offers several different nooks for reading or watching television. The new gas fireplace will keep you warm during the cold days of winter.

The Ferland Suite offers over 1400 feet of space. Its living room allows you to invite clients for meetings. The parking lot next to it and the proximity of the door facilitate guidelines for customers. The solarium, garden or balcony overlooking the lake are all great places to win over your customers.

If you need more space for accommodation, the Murphy Suite offers three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and dining room.  

Meals

A full contiental breakfast is offered and available in your Suite at no extra cost: coffee, tea, juices, hot chocolate, bread, croissants, bagels, home made muffins, yogurts, cereals, oatmeal and fresh fruits.  

The three suites offer a kitchen with everything you need to prepare your meals or serve your customers. If you're in the area for a longer period of time, you'll enjoy the barbecue and the opportunity to enjoy the gardens for your meals. A dishwasher is available in the Ferland Suite.  Catering is also available upon request.

A washer and dryer are available for visitors in the basement. A kayak, canoe and bikes are on hand in case you have some free time and would like to have a quick paddle on the lake.

Strategic Planning / Meetings

Want to find a peaceful and inspiring setting for the strategic planning of your business or organization in Northern Ontario? Strategically located in the Mid-North, Haileybury makes the traveling of your members or your team a breeze. The Presidents' Suites offers a relaxing meeting atmosphere like nowhere else in the Temiskaming region. The large 27 feet (9 meters) living room in the Ferland Suite lets you accommodate more than a dozen people around the table to plan the vision of your business without any disruption. The 7 rooms and 3 sofa beds allow you to accommodate a group of more than ten persons for the night. If you are a larger group, the Leisure Inn offers extra rooms located at a mere 5-minute walk. The living rooms of the different suites encourage discussion of smaller groups in the evening or during the day, in between your meetings.

Meals

The large kitchen in the Ferland Suite also facilitates the preparation of your group’s meals. If you’d like to receive catering services, we can help you coordinate them. The barbecue and gardens make an informal evening very easy to organize without the exorbitant prices of major resorts.

Activities

If you have a little time between meetings or would like to do a team building exercise, the Presidents’ Suites can help you organize your session. The Haileybury Golf Course, with its nine-hole course and its charming view on Lake Temiskaming, is located at a 8-minute walk from the house. A game of curling, a canoe trip or an historic evening are all activities offered in the area.

Christmas / Special Celebration

Looking for a new idea or a new place to celebrate your Christmas party or retirement party for your good employee? The Suites offer a spacious place where your group can reunite to celebrate. The size of the house and grounds allows you to let yourselves go all out without disturbing anyone around.

If you are looking for a completely original idea, the Suites offer an historic evening or
weekend.For this activity, each memberof your group receives the profile of a real character that lived in the Temiskaming region during the 1920 to 1925 era. Whether it’s the president of a mine, Mother Superior, a prospector, a famous hockey player or even the rebellious colonial priest, your team is guaranteed to have fun discovering the fascinating history of the Haileybury area. We also offer entertainment to help the course of the evening, as well as guided tours in the theme for those who want to convert the event into a full weekend.
