Exterior Hot TubAn exterior hot tub was recently installed at the Presidents’ Suites.  Enjoy, at a temperature of 103F, a beautiful view only a few steps from your suite.
Ice Fishing You want to indulge in ice fishing this winter? No worries! The Suites, which overlooks Lake Temiskaming and in which swim more than 30 species of fish (including walleye, pike, smallmouth and largemouth bass, perch and whitefish) will give you the advantage of keeping you warm between your stride to your fishing holes. Its proximity lets you take a quick break to drink a hot chocolate or indulge yourself with a delicious meal.
Snowmobiling As the nucleus of an extensive network of snowmobile trails, Haileybury is a central destination for people who enjoy snowmobiling; with 129 km of trails leading to nearby communities and 186 km of local trails in which to venture, you are being offered a lot of possibilities. Gateway to the Quebec snowmobile trail network, you have access to a very well developed network! Come ride in our beautiful forests and landscapes!
Provincial permits are required for you to enjoy these beautiful groomed trails.
Cross-Country Skiing Craving a good ski run? Rest assured, you have the opportunity to put on your skis if you insist: the Temiskaming Nordic Ski Club will allow you to wander at your own pace in more than 18 kilometers of groomed trails, in the middle of a landscape winding eskers.
Downhill Skiing and Snowboarding If you're more tempted by downhill skiing or snowboarding, Tri Town Ski & Snowboard Resort offers you the chance to improve your prowess, or discover the sport, if you are new to the sport. With 14 different runs, you have enough here to entertain you during an entire day, or half day if you prefer. Open from 10 am to 16 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, the ski hill is located 8 km on Highway 567.
Wind Sailing Any fan of sailing will be thrilled by the splendor of Lake Temiskaming and the speed of its winds. Jump on your skis and let yourself be transported to the opposite shore with speeds over 25 km/h! You'll see that the Canadian winds are highly capable of keeping you entertained!
Snowshoeing Put on a pair of snowshoes and explore the heart of the forest; no need to venture far to find yourself outside the bustle of the city; leave the torments of the day at the edge of the woods and make the void of emotions. Explore the Rock Walk Park trail or trek in nearby forests, where you might fall face to face with wildlife or the perfect photo opportunity.
 Skating If you're lucky, you might happen to stay at the Suites when the lake is transformed into
one huge skating rink.You can find on You Tube a video taken on January 1st, 2011. What a pleasure to have experienced this!
We have several pairs of skates at the Presidents' Suites. We often have a piece of ice that has been cleared so you can enjoy the lake just across from your Suite.
